What it is
ARAMEMNON is a database about plant membrane proteins with Arabidopsis thaliana as reference model plant. Currently, the database holds all putative membrane proteins of six plant species.
-
Dicotyledons
- Thale Cress (Arabidopsis thaliana), general model plant
- Grape (Vitis vinifera)
- Western Poplar (Populus trichocarpa)

-
Monocotyledons
- Rice (Oryza sativa)
- Maize (Zea mays)
- Brachypodium (Brachypodium distachyon), grass model plant

Above all, the database uses Arabidopsis thaliana as reference model plant, i.e. it contains not only the membrane proteins but all proteins of Arabidopsis thaliana.
